"Our two night stay in Lodge 1 was perfect and relaxing. Easy checkin process and the lodge was clean and welcoming. The lodge is just 10 minutes away from Skipton centre and 20 minutes away from Bolton Abbey, which we had a lovely walk around. Sitting in the hot tub with the starry sky and the hilly views topped the stay off. One of the top lodges I’ve ever stayed in. "

"The photos on the website compared the property are out of date. There is black mould in the kitchen window and the towel rack in the bathroom is also rusty and flaky. The crockery is limited with only two plates available and no bowls or mugs for a drink. The small oven that is in the apartment needs a good clean as it is filled with fats and oil. The cupboard had no hangers to hang up clothes and no ironing board even though there is an iron. The flat is also very noisy as it is right at...

"Arrived quite late around 9pm but this was no problem. The room we were given was quite simply stunning. A beautiful rustic attic room with wooden floors and huge beams spanning the ceiling. There was a 60 inch TV and Netflix was provided free of charge which was a nice surprise. All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much to ask for. A thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "

"All we needed was somewhere to stay with enough space that was close to the centre - this property was definitely that and it was fine. The rooms were nice and it was all functional. There were quite a few broken things (e.g. a fan was broken, the rod to close the blinds in the bedroom was snapped off, the bathroom towel rail was hanging off the wall) but nothing that impacted our stay. The hosts were also really responsive and friendly. "
