"I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. We stayed for a night to catch an early kayak tour out of Seward and it was a good deal. Most other...

"The stay was good. Nice little place. Perfect for what we needed. Very clean. A bit banged up but all in all good. Would help to have towels there for showering. Just saying. We will stay there again."

"Great place to fish from. Host was great and answered questions and communication was immediate. It was great for two fishing buddies but my wife would not have approved on cleanliness. Needs a better house cleaner and I think he had just lost his, so was understandable. All in all had a great stay. "
