"Perfect place to stay if you’re close to Des Moines with kids! Has breakfast, pool and hot tub! We love staying here as it’s always reasonable, especially for what they offer! "

"The property was well maintained. Our check in person had a wonderful personality and was informative and helpful. Everything was clean. On the negative side: The vending machine would not work, even after desk clerk tried to unplug it and plug it back in. The website said nothing about the facility being "shower only", which we were told at check in that the bathplugs were removed by maintenance due to guests flooding the establishment. "The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in on a long time. We did stay during the ice storm and no one had de iced the parking lot yet which was unfortunate and the parking lot is very small with not really any parking around. The door had a large gap down the side and bottom of it to where we just put a blanket across the bottom to hide the light and sound. For the most part it was a decent stay. Close to many food places and shopping and easy to get around. "

"this is a great place to stay if you are traveling or just need to get away. rooms are clean , warm . breakfast was good . i will say that coffee should be offered throughout the day and I don't think the dining room should be locked after breakfast is over simply because maybe a person would like to sit there to read, or enjoy the view outside or communicate with others or just enjoy a cup of coffee . the older lady at the front desk is not a people person. she was kinda rude. "

"I would have rated this hotel excellent except when i showed up i was informed that there waa a $20 overnight parking fee. There were no events nearby. I stayed in town two more nights but moved to the Comfort Suites right next door - same price for rooms but no $20 parking fee."

"This is not a honeymoon suite or a summer vacation rental. This is a "stop driving/working and get your head down for a decent night's sleep" kinda place, before getting up and carrying on with your journey/labour somewhat rested. It is priced accordingly. I watched staff work hard at keeping it clean."

"The room was spacious, well-kept, the bed comfortable, We keep the fan on when we stay in hotels so we don't hear other guests and had no problem here either. Check-in desk person was polite, considerate and helpful. Breakfast was standard with waffles if you want to make them. The neighborhood is fine with many eating establishments within a mile, Prairie Meadows casino and track is across the street, but it was quiet. It was as advertised."
