"Hotel was close to the event we were attending which was nice. Staff was nice and im sure the hotel was nice at one time. Could really use some updating, maybe 3 stars at one time, not now. Shampoo/cond/soap/lotion bottles were not locked into the holder which means if the person that stayed before you wanted to put something in there, they could have. Was a non smoking hotel but the hallways were pungent with marijuana. I didnt pay top dollar so didnt expect top dollar but was still a little...

"I have stayed at this La Quinta many times. It is always clean and has a very friendly staff. The location is great for visiting Duke and has all sorts of shipping within a five or ten minute drive. There are laundry machines, a small gym, an indoor pool, and free breakfast every day. Parking is easy and free. Overall a very nice place to stay. "

"The property was nice, it was a bonus that there was a washer & dryer. It was really annoying that there were no luggage carts. It's a large property and it was a real pain in the @ss not having a cart. This caused us to have to make multiple trips. Not the end of the world, just a big inconvenience. "
