"I stayed here for work in the area. Accomodation is clean and staff were friendly. Has a good selection of food and drink. I had the best fish and chips here ive had in quite a while but the menu is large enough t cover pub grub or a good steak or curry. I liked it here and would stat again no issue. "

"Let down by small things! I'd stay at the Old Ship again. Switched room mid-stay at venue's request, but I was okay with that. Comfortable beds and great linen. Both rooms were freshly painted and had been thoughtfully decorated.. However, neither bathroom had a shelf - awkward - and one room had only an overhead light. "We have just returned after a stay in this property. All I can say is WOW! It has everything you need. If you forget any toiletries the owner David has supplied a box in the bathroom with an assortment in. He even supplies eye masks and ear plugs. We stayed in the Spa room the bed was comfortable with extra blankets if needed and black out blinds. The TV showed Amazon prime and netflix. The bathroom is big with a massive jacuzzi bath. The whole property is spotless. I defy anyone to find any...

"We stayed in the grade 2 listed farmhouse in the blue room which was very large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable bathroom & shower were squeaky clean the outside temperature had changed that day due to rain so it was a tad chilly but I’m a northerner so no problem for me. The breakfast selection was amazing including a cooked breakfast The host was very chatty and informative so 5 out of 5 for our stay"
