"A convenient stopover on the way to Italy. Colmar is a beautiful town and well worth a visit. Just a few minutes walk to the historical centre and secure parking for our car at the hotel. The Hostel is well organized and the breakfast was great with a variety of Swiss cheese. "Check in was weird as the reception was closed. There was an envelope with our room key. Room was OK but very small and the shower could not be closed due to weird construction. The shower floor was very slippery. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There is no restaurant and the nearest place to eat is some kilometers across a rather steep descent."

"Nice place,very nice hotel personnel. Restaurant (that is a part of hotel, but located at another building) offered good food. Waitress were nice however just one of them spoke English so I had some difficulties to order a food. In addition to common dishes restaurant had "a daily dinner" menu."
