"Great location, walking distance to excellent restaurants & bakeries in Gràcia. The best part is that this hotel is outside the tourist hell that Barcelona has become. You can walk to the gothic quarter (if you wish) but you can also enjoy a more authentic Barcelona experience. Clean rooms, knowledgeable & friendly staff, good breakfast. Highly recommend. "

"A lot of previous reviews mentioned staff being rude, we met 3 staff on different occasions and all were very good and helpful. But I can see how the natural manner of Barcelona people could be interpreted as rude by international visitors. The hotel is well placed by a Metro station and a short walk to the shopping centre. The room was clean and functional like most budget city rooms. My only negative is we had a room at the rear, adjacent is a construction site where work starts at 8am."
