"Juan and Ana made us feel so welcome to their tropical oasis in the jungle. Now if you are looking for a place with A/C and giant TVs this is not for you. If you want to sleep immersed in the sounds of jungle, with a steam running along the property, this is the place! We have traveled the whole of Costa Rica now; this is our favorite place so far! "Check in process was all on line, easy.The pool was awesome and super welcomed.Its a clean and modern house. Only 1 issue.. Ants, just had to keep the kitchen super clean, no big deal. We used our own solution of soap, vinegar and water to deal with them.I would reccomend this house to any one."

Famous for its colorful wooden masks, the indigenous mountain-top community of Boruca is worth a visit for anyone interested in the cultures of Costa Rica. There are many artists here who are happy to share their craft with you. Masks make very reasonably priced souvenirs. Their festival every December 30- January 2 is an amazing event, not to be missed.
