"Loved the little town of blowing rock we stayed inn. Mountainaire inn pretty room was good for 2 people. Only thing is we wish we had a fridge n microwave Loved being able to walk around town to eat, look around and shopping. Also had a great bike ride up in Boone."

I think it was cool that the place was off a steep cliff. The staff was very friendly and even allowed me to check in at 11 am instead of 4 which I appreciated since I flew on and drove 3 hours . "Very close to shopping and restaurants and bars. Parking on site and had an open fire pit (gas) on site. The hosts gave us great recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They were all very good!!! All places are walkable so that made the location perfect!"

What is provided the afternoon of arrival to put in the minifridge (yogurt and orange juice of the scone and banana and apple) is not what we were expecting. Also very limited if someone is diabetic.
