"I traveled alone with my two young sons to the train in Romney, and his hotel option was clean, safe, welcoming and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the cookies at checkin were a fun surprise! A wonderful option where there are only a few hotels. "

"When I went to check-in there wasn't anyone at the front desk so I had to wait about 10 minutes, but it wasn't bad. My stay was very pleasant and it was very clean. The staff was very helpful and nice as well."

"Most facilities at the location were good. Though all the rooms have a "no smoking" sign, our room still smelled of smoke until we aired it out. Some minor cosmetic facility defects, but nothing that would deter us from coming back."

"This is a major construction site. Most of this property is gutted. There were no employees on the property as we check in and no breakfast as promised. There is heat, hot water, clean sheets and towels. There were three other guest vehicles in the lot. "

"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"Most things were fine but we had planned barbecue get together with numerous people and the grill was not functioning. No response to request for compensation due to significant inconvenience. Had to find a way to barbecue elsewhere which was difficult with small children. That was to be our principal entertainment for the weekend."

"Very spacious home! We were 4 couples and everyone had their own bathroom. Kitchen very well stocked. Loved the wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom gas fireplace did not work however. Hope that has been fixed. "

We wanted fun, relaxation, no stress and lots of memories made and Shawn and Victory Cabin was the perfect answer. From booking, to communication during the stay, the cabin, it all, 5 stars! . "My favorite thing was everyone having their own bathrooms in their bedrooms. My second, was the woodpecker who lived right outside the house. With the big windows we were able to see him come and go."
