"The house was great with the amenities such as large size beds, pool table, darts, fire pit. The gas grill was broken and we planned our meals around it. But the management company contacted use very quickly. The house could use some detail cleaned found dust and webs in corners, vents stain on ceiling from microwave. Overall the house meant our needs"

"Stayed from Sunday-Wednesday, mid-September. We had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake from the backyard with lots of sitting areas available. It was a bummer that the water level was so low, but that’s nature for you! The area is so quiet. We were def able to relax and chill"

"We had a full house for the weekend and still had plenty of room to move around. The layout was absolutely perfect for us, a mix of family and friends. Location was great! Close to Wisp, food options, market. Also not in a heavily trafficked part of the lake, we were able to jump off the dock to swim, paddle board and kayak out. Will definitely book again!"

"Loved the place a and the cleanliness. 8 bedrooms was great and all are a nice size. Online pictures make the place look a little newer and fraher than it really is but everything about the place was in good working order. Pool and hottub were great and they had a family of super fat gophers around the house that made for good entertainment."

"Classic old house that has quirky 70s-80s decor but very clean rooms with nice linens and well-kepted grounds. It was a comfortable stay for the night. It was a walk to downtown which is about a half a mile downhill but a convenient car ride. wrecommend it as a stay in meyersdale."

"My mother, son, daughter in law and I had a relaxing, enjoyable weekend at this home. We watched movies, played board games, and were on the lookout for wildlife. We were hoping to see some bears but only saw a few deer. (Smile) It’s a lovely, well kept home with a beautiful distant view of the lake. You will enjoy your stay at this home!"

The air hockey table was broke. And no useable pool sticks for either pool table. The mixer in the kitchen did not work. "My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Owl's Nest for a wonderful outdoorsy weekend. We especially enjoyed the available kayaks for use and loved how peaceful and quiet being right by the lake was. If you have kids, lots of indoor and outdoor games are available to use as well.
