"The hotel property cancelled my reservation on my day of my arrival. In a phone call with them, they said they aren't licensed to accept non-Indians. But they didn't explain why they didn't inform me earlier, only that they would refund any deposit / payment. Disappointed & much inconvenienced getting another local hotel that evening at the last minute."

"We stayed at Serenity for a month from November to December. We don't normally go this early but found out our visa still had 6 weeks left so grabbed a last minute deal. The hotel is situated behind Horizon bar and grills. The food there was excellent with great staff. Our room had a fridge, kettle safe Tv and brilliant A/C unit although it was a bit loud. The room and bedding could be cleaned daily but we had it done every two days just to refresh everything. We always got good quality towels...

"The villa that we booked and paid for was denied us. There were 2 men sitting cross legged eating their curry on the floor when we arrived and they said they knew nothing of our booking. Just within the check in time the builder/ owner turned up and said the booking was cancelled by the supplier and we would be refunded. He was callous and unapologetic. "James and the team make this property outstanding! There are a few fixes needed in that the bedside shelf was hanging off on one side and the patio doors didn’t close fully but the value for money is great. The staff really can’t do enough here or at James beach shack. Will definitely be returning "
