"This is probably one of the top three B&B's we have ever stayed in. The welcome was warm, checkin was flawless and the room exceeded expectations. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and informative and nothing was too much trouble. The little extras like home made biscuits, hot cross buns, damson gin and home made preserves turned a special stay into an extra special stay. "What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking. "
