"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "The lodge was gorgeous and very clean. Hot tub was amazing and very private. I had a lovely relaxing time and would definatly stay again."

"The rooms have all recently been refurbished to a good standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were really comfortable. Most rooms have walk-in showers. The only thing to make people aware of is that it's on a busy road but it's quiet overnight."
