"We have stayed at this hotel for years but it is starting to show its age. This time, the beds were very uncomfortable and the room wasn’t as clean as it could have been. I picked up (and disposed of) a pill of some sort that was left/dropped on the floor prior to our visit. They have a newer policy that the rooms are only cleaned every three days. We were not fans of that! We do still like how close it is to everything. It does have good qualities, like the fact that their staff is lovely...

"No grab bar in the shower...and no elevator for us old folks, but I realize I should have asked first and got an accessible room, because it's an older hotel. The room was spotless and even included a fireplace! The pub food at the restaurant there was incredible! The shepherd's pie was to die for!! "

"The room and bathroom were quite charming. Furniture looks new, and the room was furnished nicely. A fridge, microwave, in room coffee and welcome snacks are nice amenities. "

"Super cute property & hotel. The only negative thing I found was, I found an old drink cup in the fridge that wasn’t ours. It was turned off so it smelled awful. Hopefully it was just a one off mistake, because I felt like everything else was great. "

"The room was a little dated but nice and clean, but the carpet near the AC unit had a grimy damp feel to it. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room other to sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. The staff was very friendly and very helpful a check in and for the morning breakfast."
