"What a wonderful home for a family reunion/birthday party! Our ages ranged from 11 to 81. As I wandered the many halls and rooms I liked to imagine I was in a Jane Austen or E.M. Forester novel. We all loved the house so much.It's true as other reviewers mentioned it's a little spare for the folks who use walkers and canes, no hand holds in the bathrooms and all showers are (gorgeous) on the second floor. But we worked it out fine. The younger set loved the loft space. Each bedroom has its own lovely personality. The multiple living rooms are cozy and grand at the same time. Plenty of spaces to gather as well as nooks to provide respite from the fray. Only thing I really missed was a teapot. The house has probably seen many arrive, to brew tea and break through the years. I almost bought one at 1A Relics to leave behind but decided I could survive just steeping my tea in one of the million mugs for a few days. Maybe next time I'll bring one ;-)Cale is a great host and the communication was clear and easy.Thank you again, Cale, for not keeping this house entirely to yourself!"

"The house was clean and very hospitable, with a good size kitchen. The washer and dryer were big. The house met outlr needs to a "T". Convenient location to grocery stores and downtown Ellsworth, shopping, etc. I would definitely stay there again!"
