"Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were the perfect size for our group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Everyone but me slept well (I'm a VERY high maintenance sleeper and should have brought my own pillows) The property is beautiful and secluded. "The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia."

"This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. "
