"Really clean hotel with all the amenities you need. Basic but it’s what you pay for. The location is ideal as it’s very central. Was kindly upgraded to a private bathroom too and the 10% discount for the restaurant is a bonus which was excellent food. The woman on reception was very helpful and kind too. Overall an excellent experience. "

"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. "Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other...
