"Booked a one night stay. Budget Inn Lake Wales is located in a quiet area. Gentleman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. This is an older, smaller (20 room?) hotel. Room 105 had been repainted/remodeled. The outlets next to the beds had USB outlets, which I find incredibly convenient. This Budget Inn was much better than expected. There are may restaurants within a mile as well. I would stay here again. "

"We had a nice stay at this property. The room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. Checking in and out was a breeze. It’s at the end of a road, but that road has a lot of stuff like stores and restaurants. My only “issue” was that we arrived around 9:30pm and there was no lighting in the parking lot and that made me feel a tad uneasy. Other than that, my family and I would stay here again! "

"Under new management.New mgr.and family are extremely hospitable and very eager to please and insure guests are satisfied.Although,they are making great improvements to the property,they have a big job ahead fixing the neglected repairs and upkeep prior MGMT ignored.Needs more housekeeping staff.Also can use some updates on furniture and curtains definitely.overall for the price and location I was satisfied.mo bugs in my room,ac cold,clean."

"From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Lots of people walking around. At first, I had 2nd thoughts about staying here because of it. HOWEVER, the manager was very professional and polite and once I got into the room, I found it to be very clean and nice looking. THE OUTSIDE DOESN'T DO THE INSIDE JUSTICE. In fact, the only real complaints I had about the room was the TV doesn't allow you to login into your own Netflix, Hulu, or You Tube account and the light above the sink burnt out....
