"The outside is definitely deceiving. The rooms on the inside are mostly updated. There are some things that could use a refresher, such as the bath tubs. The only thing I'd have to complain about is about when we arrived. It was 2 hrs prior to check in. The front desk clerk said there would be a early check in fee and almost ran my card through. "The room was clean but basic. The tv was very small. Biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed for remodel (we had grandchildren with us) and I felt they should have reduced the rate since we were not notified ahead of time. On a great note, the breakfast was wonderful!"

"We always enjoy our stay at the Wye. The couple who work the front desk are always pleasant and helpful. The place is slowly getting some upgrades. It's still a bit dated, but always clean and comfortable. We stay at Wye every time we're in town for the Altoona Curve. Looking forward to our stays throughout September."
