"We had a great stay at ibis Marseille Centre Gare Saint Charles! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much ourselves. The best feature of the hotel is that it is steps away from Gare Saint-Charles station (major train station) which is extremely convenient if you have an early-morning train ride like we did! "

We arrived well before checkin time and the staff was very friendly and stored our luggage, so we could go out and explore for the afternoon. Close to all the action and markets but the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. We will be back!"
