"Pleasantly surprised after reading negative reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. Yes, the floors creaked but its what you would expect in an old building such as this. Plenty of hot water for bath/shower. However shower lost pressure due to lots of people showering at the same time each morning. There was a good choice for breakfast and cooked to order. Excellent location in the centre of town. "

"DO NOT BOOK. We turned up, having paid via Expedia, only to be told they don't actually have rooms to book. I don't know if this is a scam as the email confirmation said that there was no Front Desk so ring in advance to confirm booking... Lord alone knows who would be picking you up and taking you someplace else. The owners either have no idea or are up to something, but DO NOT BOOK, there's no accommodation here, and it's potentially dangerous. Expedia need to wipe this one from their...
