"Fantastic location for exploring the old town and short walk from the airport bus station. I loved this city and all its narrow alleys. Hostal Pons is in a old palau with antique decor and furniture which made my stay even more exiting. It's staying in a piece of history. "The hostal was perfectly located in Cala D’Or. The room was decent and clean, but the sheets and towels need an update since some of them were torn and had holes. We had everyday room service with new towels, paper and shower gel. Also upon check in we got beach towels and an umbrella to use during the stay for free which was a pleasant surprise. All in all we did like the stay at Hostal San Francisco and would recommend for the price."

"The hostel was excellent! Basic and clean facilities, but that’s all you need when you’re out all day. Olly was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and took time when we checked in to throughly explain niche spots and recommend travel plans. Great location super close to the beach and plenty of cafes as well. Only downside is the bathroom water pressure and drainage, it’s very weak. But even this wasn’t the biggest deal. "

"The hotel was not as online or in photos. It is poorly neglected and filthy. I would never stay again. Especially with the price they are charging. The 1st room they gave me smelt like an ashtray even though it was non-smoking room and there were food crumbs on the floor. The 2nd room was moldy and there were water leaks and toilet wouldn't stop running. There is no security in the building just a simple key to lock your door, no deadbolt. Baseboards are coming away from the wall, the ceiling...

"This was a perfect property for my boyfriend and I. We were able to enjoy the beach (30 second walk) with everything in walking distance including Aldi for groceries and many restaurants and mini supermarkets and gift shops on the surrounding streets. The staff were very lovely and often put out the leftover pastries from breakfast to share! Would definitely stay again and couldn’t recommend more if you just want a small, convenient and affordable getaway! "

"Hotel liegt in einer Nebenstraße zum Ballermann.Das Hotel war hellhörig, wodurch man nachts und tagsüber die anderen Hotelgäste durchgehend hören konnte. Das Zimmer war stark in die Jahre gekommen, keine Klimaanlage, nur ein alter Ventilator. Nach dem Duschen stand meist das ganze Bad unter Wasser, da der Abfluss nicht richtig funktioniert. Großer Pluspunkt des Hotels: Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend! "

"The first room we were given was disgusting, we had cockroaches, dirty sheets and it smelled like chlorine and looked nothing like the pictures. After arguing twice we were given a much better room, however the sheets were still dirty and the previous person’s clothes were still in the bed."

"Can Guillo needs a bit of a modernization as everything looks quite old. To start with, there is no aircon in the rooms, they give you an electric fan that is very noisy which makes impossible to leave it on throughout the night and it gets really hot. The windows in the room are really small which means there is no air/proper ventilation. The fridge in the room is also very old, we had to unplug it due to the noise.
