"This hotel is undergoing renovations. I had booked and wasn’t advised of this. The only inconvenience was there wasn’t a free breakfast as stated but there are lots of options around. They gave us a suite and accommodated us on the first floor and near an outdoor exit which was great as we were travelling with our dog. The price was cheaper due to the renos and no charge for our dog which was also appreciated. It’s easy access off the highway and feels very safe. We would probably stay here...

"This is our stopover when traveling down to Florida from NY. Walterboro is a very small quaint little town and Microtel is my number one choice for our stopover. I have tried other hotels in the area and prefer this one over them all. They have reasonable rates for dogs and hotel rooms. The room are large, super clean, I go through the bedding with a black light and nothing comes up ever, same with the remote and bathroom. The hotel is off the road, so everything is quiet. "For an overnight with pets you can't beat it. It is safe quiet and there is large green space to walk with your dogs. There are also a couple of restaurants in walking distance too. It is clean, has the larger compact fridge, a light breakfast is also included. Staff is nice. Great economy hotel."
