It’s the kind of place where you find yourself pausing just to take it all in – which we frequently did. My wife and I took a walk to the nearby lakes recommended by some of the hotel staff, and it was an unforgettable experience — every step revealed new breathtaking views of the frozen lakes framed by towering snow-covered peaks. We also walked to the lighthouse, more fantastic views – perhaps in summer I could do the more challenging fisherman’s walk which I noticed on the way. The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Dining here felt like an experience in itself.
