"A good basic hotel. In a busy area so noise could be heard, but not a big problem. Clean and comfortable, excellent value and very close to the station too. Room had air con and en suite bathroom. Didn’t use the breakfast offered at the hotel as so close to many outlets in the station! Would use again."

"Location is convenient to main train/metro station and 20-30in walk to many sites/tourist area. Staff were pleasant. Room was basic but adequate/cheap for me as a solo traveller staying for a week. I wouldn't have wanted to stay here with a partner. Most other rooms seemed to be occupied by 'residents'. The area around the hotel is rough and dirty. You could call it "character". A mainly black and Chinese area, people sleeping on bare matresses on the street, lots of street stalls around...

"La Magnolia Sorrento is well location near the center of Sorrento: 6 mins walk from the bus station, 1 mins from Piazza Tasso, next door to hotel is a little fresh grocery store of fruits, vegetables, breads and cheeses etc for snacks and breakfast items, a wine store, and a excellent pizza and pasta restaurant. 6-8 mins you can walk to Piazza Antonio and walk down to the ferry station or take a lift down.
