"It’s actually 4.5/5. Lovely room, comfy bed, lots of hot water and a fantastic view. Very friendly to both humans and our dogs. Room very clean, downstairs floor less so, but so much mud being brought in….. The only negative is the cooked breakfast, eggs lovely, bacon and sausage less so. Most delicious chocolate croissants I’ve ever had though!"

"Overall a comfortable stay. Aishwarya and few Asian colleagues were really helpful and kind enough to answer all the questions. The breakfast was fantastic. Coffee machine and the bread toaster was the highlight. I will definitely go back to stay. "

"Two night stay visiting for Dorchester Beer festival which was 5 mins walk away. Comfy accommodation. No food but you can bring food in and excellent Wetherspoons 2 mins walk away."

"The room, large and clean with comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good, breakfast cooked to order and lots of choice. The location of the Hotel is great for Shaftesbury town, a 12 minute walk takes you to the centre. We really liked it. We didn’t use the pool but it looks nice, although it seemed to be constantly used by locals mainly. Overall very happy "

"Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude.
