"Good location, close to the yubatake. Hotel is modern, looks new and clean, however did find mould on the shower floor. Meals not a strong suit. Great stay overall."

"We only stayed here for one night. The location was super convenient. We didn't use the amenities much and didn't have breakfast at the hotel either. The room was super small. We managed as we had only a carry-on with us. Tall people or people with luggage might've found the room inadequate. Staff was very helpful, check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. "The hotel is very close to the center of town. They also offer transportation. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the room comfortable. You do sleep on the floor if you get a traditional Japanese room, but it was not bad. The hot springs are not tattoo friendly."

"This is a lovely new hotel, very helpful friendly staff and one of the very best Onsens we’ve experienced in Japan (this is my third trip). Really fantastic- new, clean, three pools- outstanding. The hotel is 35 minutes S of Hakuba by car and an hour by shuttle bus, and the shuttle only runs to and from once per day so without a car you don’t have many options. Omachi, the nearest town is a fairly long walk. Recommend having a rental car if you stay here. "

"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom....

"We had an unique experience staying here. Shoes ares kept in lockers next to hotel entrance. We walked on the soft, comfortable tatami throughout the hotel common area. The hotel provides mechanic car park - which is helpful, so we don't have to worry about our car being subject to snow or cold. Highly recommend this hotel."

"I want to start off by saying I had a nice visit, I did the half board option and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. The hotel is old, let's just prepare you for this, really old. It could do with a massive makeover but I doubt it will happen as they are very busy due to the amazing location. If you are...
