"My room had the best view. Literally a view of the harbour, it was fantastic to wake up to. My bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and warm. 👍 It’s a great location, I had no issues parking. Locals are friendly and there’s plenty of places to eat in the area."

"Location is excellent but need to look for parking as limited. Room was really nicely decorated which made it feel really homely. Restaurant serves excellent food and it’s close to their restaurant and services. Portree itself it’s absolutely beautiful and I could not recommend it enough. "

"Such a beautiful hotel and staff were always approachable and pleasant. Hotel very clean and tidy. Loved the board with all the activities and information about the island at reception, great idea. I found the restaurant very expensive, also we were unable to get 2 different cocktails of the menu during the 3 days we were there, because they had no pineapple juice and also no rosé wine which was disappointing. "This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...
