"While I appreciate this hotel is not expensive, unfortunately the basic cleanliness of the room let it down for us. There was purple cleaning fluid on the bathroom floor, the bathmat was absolutely filthy and the bedsheets were laundered but had stains on them. I had to ask twice to have the towels changed. "Location is very good. View was OK. Looks better on the internet than in person. Our room was dowdy and in need of paint, new furniture, clean bedspread. A/C worked, 3 TV stations worked. Staff was not very friendly (unusual for Brazil!) and breakfast left a lot to be desired."

There is no reception / front desk so the service was disappointing - getting there needed coordination which was difficult at best (to get keys etc), we didn’t have sheets for one of the beds and texted them around 6pm and they told us it wouldn’t be possible to bring them that day.
