"Santa Casa is a beautiful historic property and we really felt welcome there by the staff. Our room faced the street so there was a bit of noise, but the hotel provided ear plugs and that helped. The bed was comfy and having a separate sitting room was nice. There are no elevators, which is probably true of all the historic hotels. Highly recommend Panaderia Rosetta for breakfast. "This is my preferred hotel for Mexico City trips. The check-in is very easy and the staff is extremely attentive. The breakfast buffet has so many options and you meet so many people during breakfast. The first night I was placed in a room with an exterior window on the first floor which was extremely noisy. The staff was nice enough to move me to a different room where I was able to get some good rest. So keep in mind if you're a light sleeper ask for a room that does not face the main road....
