"Inside of Viajero is lovely. They have a great courtyard, bar, restaurant, etc. My room was very spacious and comfortable. I had a great stay. I was the victim of an attempted mugging immediately outside of the hostel. It was 7:30pm on a Friday and I was about 10 steps away from the door when a man grabbed me and tried to take my phone. "Excellent hotel. Staff is tremendously helpful - helped counsel us on things to do and transportation and were actively looking out for us. The rooms were wonderful for our family. The interior courtyard was inviting and the rooftop restaurant was delicious. All staff were so warm and welcoming and Dennis in particular was wonderful when we ate at the restaurant. Lunch was delicious - breakfast is fine but not as differentiating as the rest of the experience. We could hear a woman’s choir...

"I was blown away by this hotel. The staff were like family and so lovely and friendly, the breakfast was freshly cooked every day to individual tastes, the room was amazing and lovely and clean. The only thing I would recommend is a good pair of earplugs (although you will prob need these anywhere in Quito), as the drivers like to honk their horns a lot! But my earplugs worked fine and I had a wonderful stay. "
