"I was blown away by this hotel. The staff were like family and so lovely and friendly, the breakfast was freshly cooked every day to individual tastes, the room was amazing and lovely and clean. The only thing I would recommend is a good pair of earplugs (although you will prob need these anywhere in Quito), as the drivers like to honk their horns a lot! "The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!"
