"We loved Ramon’s. It’s a tropical paradise on a gorgeous, meticulously maintained beach. Our room facing the water was perfect in the mornings for coffee on the porch. We went on a fishing trip & a snorkel trip with the resort and had a blast. The restaurant is good, but the smoothie shack was our favorite. Just a wonderful time all in all. "

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Once you arrive in Belize City, you are chartered to a marina (15 min) then taken by boat (30 min) to the island. You are greeted by staff immediately with cocktails waiting for you. The stay is intimate… you are 1 of 32 max guests on an island. (During our stay there were maybe 15 guests total at one time). "IT IS A BUMPY 35-40 GOLF CART RIDE TO THE RESORT FROM IN TOWN. BUT HAVING BEEN TO TOWN A FEW TIMES, I REALLY TRULY DID ENJOY THE FACT WE WERE FURTHER AWAY. IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT, I LIKE THE FACT THAT AT THE 2 POOLS THERE WAS ALWAYS A CHAIR, AND ON THE BEACH THERE WAS ALWAYS A CHAIR. THERE WERE NO YA HOOS AROUND NO POWER DRINKERS, IT WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT A RELAXING VACATION. IF YOU WANT CHAOS THEN PLEASE STAY CLOSER TO TOWN. ALEC WAS A GREAT BARTENDER AS WAS THE EVER BEAUTIFUL SHEILA!...

"Small intimate property with exceptional staff. We booked the over water cabana and were surprised that it was on the cove side of the island so no waves. Also, there isn’t really a beach because they had to put in a wall to stop erosion. "

"My stay was absolutely fantastic overall. The hospitality was wonderful, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. My only minor concern was that the room felt somewhat dated and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and some updated amenities. The bathroom was lovely, though, and one doesn't spend all their time in the room anyway. The food and drinks were the best on the island, and the overall experience was very relaxing."

"We stayed here the night we arrived into Belize before taking the water taxi over to Caye Caulker! It was clean, staff was friendly and the restaurant was great!! Good food and drinks!! The room was just enough. Clean and hot shower. Coffee maker and water bottles for each of us. No complaints and plan to stay here again on our way home!"

"The hotel is in the perfect location. The area is quiet but a quick golf cart ride into the main town. There are markets nearby and golf cart rental available through the hotel. Definitely have dinner at Gonzalo and the Princess. All around wonderful experience and will definitely be back "
