"Location is convenient to main train/metro station and 20-30in walk to many sites/tourist area. Staff were pleasant. Room was basic but adequate/cheap for me as a solo traveller staying for a week. I wouldn't have wanted to stay here with a partner. Most other rooms seemed to be occupied by 'residents'. The area around the hotel is rough and dirty. You could call it "character". "The staff, cleanliness and view were amazing! Felt extremely safe and welcomed at all times. Only negative was that the walls are paper thin to the point where the whole room echos if someone flushes the toilet next door. Other than that unfortunately I did not get a sea view as there was a pine tree in the way but the positive was that my balcony was private. Would recommend, just not if you are a light sleeper like I am. "
