"What a wonderful stay! This is a very unique opportunity to stay in an active Monastery. The grounds are buildings are beautiful and well preserved. The room was simple, but spacious and very comfortable. The Friars are warm and welcoming; they welcome participation in prayers and services, though there is no expectation to do so. "We chose this property as we were heading to watch the Moto GP. Was about an hour from circuit but we made an excellent choice. What a diamond of a place. Stunning views. Superb service. Staff couldnt help enough. Rooms were immaculate and as a bonus presenters from the Moto GP race were staying there also. Would definitely recommend "

"The room was freezing, there was no phone in the room to contact reception and the night receptionist did not know a word of English. The only restaurant in the hotel, which was also the only restaurant in that area, started serving at 8:00 p.m. and served only two soups and three rustic dishes, none of which could be eaten. It didn't even have a menu to choose from, and it was immediately filled with drunken men. It was like a nightmare for a family with children."
