"Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely."

Warm and inviting as you enter the driveway.

"Holds all our 5 or 6 people easily. and can handle dogs. plenty of room. has the basic necessities. Good location for multiple ski resorts. Very budget friendly."

"Near the lake, easy to walk around. Close to the main road with noise. The building is old, and the heater is loud, remote is out of service, bathroom floor always wet, kitchen is small, 1 cloth hanger there. It's an average place, can be better."

"This house was perfect for our getaway to Tahoe! Lots of space to sleep, clean organized kitchen and cozy vibes. Nice property for our doggy too! Loved the hot tub! "

"We had a great time at this cabin. It was perfect for all ages and location was great! Only complaint would be that the floors were dirty upon arrival and had to vacuum due to having little ones crawling around on the floor. Otherwise highly would recommend!"

"We chose this mountain cabin for its location "near" Lake Tahoe, but not in Lake Tahoe. We have previously stayed at many cabins in the Tahoe area over the years. These cabins ranged from modern to ancient. This cabin was a great representation of 1960s mountain cabin with modern kitchen appliances. Very comfortable for the eight of us. I especially liked the freestanding (wood simulating) gas fireplace. "

"Sweet home and well set up kitchen! Lots of games for family time. My grandkids enjoyed snowplay and game time! Rich and Flo were super helpful when we had some issues getting into unit, by our own “operator error”!"

"A very nice cabin for a family, in a quiet nice neighborhood."

"This home was perfect for our 7 person family of adults. Great layout, well stocked, and immaculately clean. Backyard area is beautifully landscaped and the wooded setting is so relaxing. Good proximity to activities, shopping and dining. Will stay again! Thank you!"

"Was pretty clean and cozy. There were some cobwebs and lots of dust we could see on the ceiling beams and on some of the furniture like the side of bed tables. WiFi was fine on our phones. Tv worked way better when we hotspotted to a phone. Otherwise it was great "

"House was very clean and fit our needs. Listing was a bit confusing with number of queen beds. It’s 6 rooms- 5 rooms with queen bedsand a very small 6 “room” with a set of bunk beds. Again it worked well for our group, it just was confusing "

"We loved this place. We stayed here for skiing at Heavenly and it was fairly easy to get to both sides of heavenly from here. Garage are was nice for the two vehicles we had. Plenty of space for the ski equipment to thaw out. Game room was great for the 4 teenagers. As with the other reviews, it does have stairs. Since I knew that I made it fun when we got there, had everyone tour the house before we brought anything in. It was nice to have the separated rooms "
