"I had a great stay at Cocoon. The hotel is very convenient to the train station, which is the main reason i chose it, and about a 20 minute walk to Alstadt. There aren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity but there are a few, or plan to eat in Old Town before returning. The room was very comfortable and i like the sustainability. I added the breakfast one morning and it was well worth it. Really liked that they had a water station to refill your water bottle. As long as you are okay being slightly removed from the main tourist area, I would highly recommend. "

"Beautiful building. Room very clean, new and contemporary. We were upgraded to a suite. Which was very spacious. Huge shower. Hotel location is across the river from Old town but walkable in 10-15 mins. Mirabellplatz (gardens) just across the road. Convenient for pickup for sound of music tour. Lovely roof top bar next door. Breakfast was very relaxed and selection was as expected. An enjoyable stay. "

"One night in Salzburg. Loved being near the Mirabel, Palace and Gardens! Easy access to everything in old town. Very helpful staff. We did not take breakfast, but got coffee and yummy treats right across the street."
