"A perfectly maintained and charming hotel with genuinely friendly staff, a good breakfast, and excellent location just blocks from Mirabel Gardens and the Old City. The hotel suffers from one defect only, but it was a big one for me: the bar next door. This is the only reason I have not otherwise awarded 5 stars here. "The property was excellent and the staff was wonderful! The area is a very small village but its very walkable, and has a quaint vibe about it. The staff was excellent, and though I didnt speak a great deal of German, and they didnt speak a great deal of english, they were very friendly, and even one very nice lady in the mornings was able to teach me some.German. This is a very nice place for a relaxing experience that near a large town, but still out of the way. "

"Our stay at Villa Alma was remarkable. Sophia was an absolute treasure as the manager of the property. She was there for check in and a tour of the facility, and became our friend during out stay. The entire staff was amazing, helpful, courteous and kind. The food was amazing for breakfast and if we need some food at other times. The access to the lake, and all of the facilities were perfect. Best stay we could have imagined. We would come back again without question."

"The hotel is in a remote location which made for a quiet night. There was a restaurant in the hotel but I didn’t know that so we ate in the nearby town. There was lots of free parking. I was surprised to find my room did not have a bathroom, only a sink and that the bathroom was shared. I have not shared a bathroom like that before and thought it was awkward. "First class boutique style hotel. Excellent amenities, great shower, bed, noise isolation. My only cons is that there is no place for large suitcase, except from on the floor under TV screen. I was by myself in the room, for two this would be problematic. Even for me I had to jump over to get to the window blinds. Small design fault, otherwise great place to stay. "

Contactless check in and check out was seamless with really nice consideration for a slightly later checkout by the manager. Communication was also easy, messages replied almost instantly.
