"Casa Holmes is in a lovely little village and is impeccably clean with a completely private fantastic large pool. Lots of thoughtful touches iwhich is in a little old authentic Spanish village house . Great aircon in all bedrooms! The only SLIGHT drawbacks are that the stairs are quite steep with the last two steps being higher than others - there is a baby gate but for tiny children maybe not totally suitable - there is a handrail however. "Erst als wir hier gebucht hatten sahen wir auf der Website von Novasol die sehr schlechte Bewertung eines Gastes aus Juli 2023. Wir versuchten, mit Novasol Kontakt aufzunehmen um darum zu bitten, das Haus zu richten. Zunächst hieß es, das Objekt wäre nicht bekannt, später bekamen wir die Buchungsbestätigung. Im Chat mit Novasol wurde uns geraten, mit der Dame, die die Schlüssel verwaltet, Kontakt aufzunehmen. Das erschien uns sehr unpassend, zumal diese auf eine Anfrage per E-Mail auch nicht...

"My family of 5 young adults and three adults stayed for a week at this beautiful home. It was spotlessly clean, the pool was amazing and perfect with the views, the house is well stocked and our host Juan Carlos and his family were wonderful. "The property was so authentic and beautiful. Dated but for us this was a good thing as it felt local and special. Paqui was extremely helpful even though he didn’t speak much English, his daughter helped communicate with us via WhatsApp and gave us lots of recommendations and support with travel. We were hoping to use taxis but because of the villa location this is not possible all the time so if you’re staying here you should definitely get a Hire car! The biggest supermarket was 17 min drive...

Good little find.

"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"

Not so good

"The beds were uncomfortable and the wife was almost hurt when she sat up and the bed tilted. The towels were like sandpaper. We had to phone someone to get in, who didnt speak anu english which I know isnt expected in their own country. Fortunately I managed. Others might not. Location was the best part of the visit."

Better than the pictures

"We stayed for ten nights and had a wonderful time. Six adults seven children and a dog. The location is stunning even more beautiful than the photographs. Air conditioning in most bedrooms and the interior rooms were cool despite 35+ temp outside. The owner was great, cleaned the pool every day before we got up and was available if we needed anything, which in the event we did not. A perfect location to relax, and also explore the surrounding area."
