"This is such a beautiful location, and the home is well-maintained and decorated with care. When we arrived, four pairs of slippers were waiting for us, just as if we were staying in a traditional ryokan or machiya. We felt welcomed as invited guests. "This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"
