"Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. Self serve laundry was a huge plus. Breakfast buffet had a little of options and was well stocked. We enjoyed our two nights here and would return to the same hotel if ever back in Yakushima. "

"2泊しました。食事は外食としましたが、縄文杉ツアーに用意して頂いたお弁当は美味しかったです。縄文杉前夜寝ているとおおきなムカデが現れ慌てて電気を付けると捕食系の大きな蜘蛛がおり、徹夜での縄文杉アタックとなりました。屋久島と言うロケーション上仕方ないのかもしれませんが、。総合評価としては料金を鑑み率直にこの様なy評価となりました。"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hana Mana Cottage. We stayed for two night and wished we had longer. The property was amazing - the cottage is situated in an incredibly well kept garden in beautiful Yakushima. It is a short(ish) walk to the Senpiro Falls. The cottage itself was lovely - it had plenty of space to relax was clean and comfortable. It was the ideal place to come back to after our hike around Yakushima. Our hosts were very kind and helpful - and we even got to meet a couple of friendly cats on the property! I would definitely recommend this property and hope we can one day come back."

"The Pros: The hotel is big, with wonderful mountain and ocean views. Rooms are big. The staff was mostly very courteous. The Cons: Built in the 1980s, the hotel doesn’t appear to have been renovated since then, giving it a “lost in time” feel. Very outdated facilities for charging electronic devices. Beds not comfortable. Food at the restaurant is expensive and mediocre. The hotel is also A LONG WAY from the ferry terminal (50 minutes) and the airport (35 minutes). Without a car, it would not be practical to reserve this accommodation. "
