"This was the perfect setting for our family Christmas. Going above and beyond, our hosts set up a Christmas tree and even had a sweet gift under the tree when we arrived. Our backdrop for Christmas was the beautiful Mt. Shasta. The home was well set-up for our needs of cooking many meals and Christmas dinner as well. "This house is a grand old lady, comfortable with a few quirks befitting her age. The downstairs is spacious and we were able to fit 17 around the dinner tables available. Kitchen was well outfitted. There is a very steep staircase however, which some might find intimidating. Also, due to the age and draftiness of the house, the heating system was barely able to keep up with the 28-30 degree temps outside. Probably more comfortable in the non-winter months. Would stay again. "

"This place was awesome! We enjoyed every day especially star gazing on cold winter’s night while sipping on some red wine or whiskey to stay warm while star gazing. Having a chance to use the fire stove was awesome. The kids loved the snow. Even our 3 year old German Shepherd acted like a snow dog enjoyed running in the snow and at one point decided to lay there as if he was in a cozy bed. It was easy to maintain contact with Scott. "Beautiful property and a working cattle ranch. Took the family and 2 grandkids. Fishing was a bit difficult, but lots of other fishing spots close by. We liked feeding the horses carrots. Cows were great to see all around. Ranch manager Tim was really helpful with tips. Nice ranch to hike all over. "

"This beautiful home surpassed our highest expectations for a secluded, comfortable, charm-filled Christmas retreat that could sleep 7 adults and one 2 year-old comfortably. It was well-equipped, clean, private and perfectly situated for hiking, skiing or lounging at the top of Siskyou Pass. Our host Micheline was also just delightful. It was a wonderful place - by every measure - in which our family could Christmas together."

"Cozy and comfortable log cabin. We had fresh snow as deep as our 5 year old is tall. Sledded out the front door, warmed up in the sauna. Home and property are clean and well cared for. Mich has everything you could need and was a very thoughtful host. "

"We have stayed in many VRBOS, and this may have been the cleanest. Spotless! Great open floor plan, fun for families. Well equipped kitchen... thank you for the spices, coffee, tea, cooking oils and food storage--plastic wrap, zip lock bags etc. Comfortable beds. Pretty views. Nice neighbors. Thank you!"

"This little house was perfect for our long weekend in Etna California. Very close to town but cozy and quiet. In the morning deer would be eating grass in the backyard. The kitchen is very well stocked and plenty of seating. Didn’t get to use the fireplace, but it looked cute. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Our stay was mostly good with some confusion tossed in. There weren’t enough towels for the four of us, but that was resolved fairly quickly with brand new towels. It was unclear as to who was supposed to be dumping the “tank” and where to empty the trash. It’s a decent trailer, in a convenient location and very reasonable. After an unexpected change in our previously arranged lodging, and despite the confusion, I’m glad it was there!"

"My family enjoyed our stay in Weed. The house rental was perfect, clean, and accommodated our family vacation. The homeowner mark was very kind and hospitable and made sure we always had everything we needed. I would definitely rent his lovely home again."

"A very nice facility with a great staff. The bed and the Hot shower were lovely after a long travel day. I found my room very clean and inviting with a coffee/tea pot, nice towels and great darkening window shades. While I noticed the traffic noise early in the evening I had a peaceful night. I appreciated a safe and secure parking lot, although the property entrance was a little tricky, perhaps it was my maps. The facility is close to a couple fast food eateries and a grocery store which was walkable and very convenient through the rear parking lot. Great stay, would stay again."
