"Well equiped, as beautiful as it looked in the pictures. We had a few issues with things not working, breakers tripping, etc, and hosts were quick to answer when we reached out. Note if it matters to you - river is far below property and not accessible at that point. In the fall when water is low, it was hard to even see. There is a great swinging bridge trail that gets you to places you could access the river. Note"

"Well maintained cabin with plenty of space for out party of 5. A little far (1hr drive) from Yosemite Village but manageable. We felt very comfortable during our 4 night stay. Only quibble would be the dated stovetop and oven. As there was no exhaust fan, broiling pork chops in the oven resulted in quite a bit of smoke (much of it from pre-existing grease and burnt bits already caked to the top oven)"

We had a fantastic week in Yosemite and enjoyed using this as our home base for exploring the park - it was great to be able to walk to the Chilnualna Falls trail from our house and we made multiple visits to the Mariposa grove."
