"The property was as described and pictured. The house was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was easy to work in and had plenty of amenities. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and in the kitchen, as well as, paper and toiletry products. A previous review had noted hearing gunfire during their stay. "River Perch was amazing! We had a wonderful family long weekend in November with our two labs. Even in November, the kids and dogs had a fantastic time in the water- tubing, fishing and wading. The river was relatively shallow- no deeper than thigh high on my 12 year old. My husband tried to fish, but after 3 days gave up. Super quiet, clean, remote and has everything you need. "I enjoyed every peaceful moment I was there! Living near, and working in a big city is loud and stressful. This was just what the Dr. ordered! Beautiful home in a beautiful setting with great amenities. Loved the lower level deck and propane fire pit that was ready to use! My older dog had a few problems traversing the steps but he loved being there as well!!! Already booked another stay! "
