"Really good hotel. I havent been to Boracay since I was a teenager and 15 years later as an adult, I can say that this hotel made my stay. Breakfast - not too many options for a 5 star hotel, however I stuck to traditional Filipino breakfast which they had and it was delicious, especially the champorado that was available. Staff - staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone greeted you hello every time you walked past. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a wet towel to wipe the sweat off my face and neck. I asked if I could extend my stay for an extra night and this was arranged without any issues and I just had to go over to reception to pay the amount. Hotel Amenities - The area around the two pools are really nice and well laid out. Beautiful view. Towards the adult pool at the back is the eastern beach of boracay, and it is much less crowded than the main beach. There is a smoking area, as you cannot smoke on the balcony which is a good thing as it encourages less littering. The gym is really nice, doesnt have all of the equipment, but good enough for a decent workout. The only issue with the gym is that the AC is not that strong and the Philippines being a hot country, it was a nightmare working out in there. Town - there is a hotel shuttle that goes to town (dmall) every hour which is convenient if you dont want to talk. However, it takes 5-7 minutes of walking time to get there so it depends on your mood. "

"1) Movenpick has a wider stretch of beach than its neighbors, Crimson and Shangri-la. 2) Should include activities for guests 3) Nice to enjoy free shuttle to D'Mall or downtown, adding more times to shuttle guests would be appreciated 4) Overall, Movenpick is a great place in Boracay, away from the very busy part of the island. Will book this again next time."
