"For a solo trip, this ended up being a lot of fun...but was a bit difficult to get to. I opted to take a cab which ended up being a bit expensive, but it was worth it to me. "This is an unbelievably beautiful hotel that is incredibly low-priced by U.S. standards and by far the most palatial accommodation I've stayed in throughout the world. It is located well above the very modern city of Shenzhen at the top of a mountain. The hotel has four restaurants and across a swan lake is a massive park with walking trails, food courts and performance stages, along with a series of beautifully illuminated housing structures of all styles and periods which people rent in order...

"We had to cancel the last nine days of our trip or risk getting stuck in China due to Coronavirus concerns. Completely unseen and out of our control. Still, the hotel refused to refund any of of our stay, even though they told our Chinese daughter-in-law that they would refund as long as it was initiated by Orbitz. Orbitz tried for almost a month but was unable to secure a refund for us. We will be staying elsewhere when we visit family in the future."
