"Visited with parents during Christmas break. An absolute gem — we loved every small detail in the rooms and play areas, since it was really well decorated with Korean traditional hints everywhere. "This was a different kind of stay for us. Room is tiny and you sleep on a heated floor. My husband has a bad back so I asked for padding. The manager not only gave me padding but sat with us to explain the rules of the hotel and went over a map of the village and where to go sightseeing, food and drinks. "The suite room was a good size for my family of 6. The free breakfast is the same everyday with eggs, orange, and prepacked food - this did not meet our needs as we needed a more wholesome breakfast. Nonetheless, the staff were really eddicient and friendly."

"Great hotel, but the toilet was the wrong direction and difficult to use because the front was not facing the door. Had to walk in sideways to use the toilet. Bathtub is nice, bed is comfy. Parking is limited but if there are no spots they will park for you outside."

"When we first visited The May hotel, we had a little or no expectation but we were surprised at the quality of the facility and the services we have received. I can truly say that this place earned its 4 star rating and we're very glad that we had a chance to experience it. Thumbs up and i definitely recommend The May Hotel for your next stay!"

"The property is big and good for family or company picnic. It's bit away from the town center but quiet and peaceful. The manager was very kind to mail my wife's medicine that we left at the room. Overall very satisfied."

"I showed up at the property. There was no one there and the place seemed deserted. I found another place to stay.VERY DISAPPOINTING! I asked Expedia for a refund but not yet received. No other guests or evidence of any presence found. "

"It was extremely dirty everywhere except for the room which was ok. Barely adequate. The bar/kitchen area looked completely abandoned as though some disaster had hit the place and everyone had run away. The basement area, where we eventually found out we had to make breakfast with mouldy bread was disgusting. There was a large dead cockroach in the sink and the walls were crumbling. We’re not fussy people but this was really bad and we left after one night. The only communication we had was through Instagram with the manager. Not a common thing for people in their 60’s. The photos are from many years ago and the promises in the text are just not available. In summary, one to avoid.."
