"This was our favorite part of a 2 week Japan trip. While the onsen’s were great, and amenities were fantastic, my favorite was the location and wilderness. Very remote, with lots and long “2 way road but 1car space” roads before you make it to the hotel which has parking for about 10 guest cars. 10/10!"

"Loved my stay here. The location was great, just a short walk to the main vine bridge in Iya Valley. But it's also secluded enough to really feel the remoteness of Iya Valley. My room was wonderful, very well appointed and clean. The high point was the staff. They were all wonderful and kind, and went above and beyond during my stay. They even drove me to the bus stop in the morning so that I wouldn't have to walk with my suitcase. I would absolutely stay here again."

"There is nothing unique about this Hotel. The owner has to renovate this establishment. It’s not a place for humans. It’s totally runned down. The car bets are stained all over the place. "埃などは落ちてないので清潔ではあるが、何せ建物や備品が古いままな為、カーテンや扉の紙の日焼けやシミがそのまま残ってしまっているのが残念。 昭和世代はまだ耐えられるが、それ以降の人達には厳しいかもしれません。お湯がなかなか出てこないのも大変。それだけ今の世の中が便利で楽になったという事を感じれます笑 部屋及び風呂からの眺めも窓を変えるだけでもかなり変わるはずですが、経営上なかなか難しいんでしょうね。 それでも旅館の方達は高齢ですが、親切で良い方ばかりです。"
