Comfortable stay in Kotohira
We just had one night here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though we couldn't speak Japanese and they couldn't speak much English. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Within walking distance were a great coin laundry, a cafe and an excellent restaurant (Yakiniku Tanaka) as well as a shopping centre across the road.

車で道後温泉まで向かう経由地として宿泊。金比羅山観光がメインであれば、少し離れていると感じる人もいるかも。ただ、歩いても参道入口まで10分ほどしかかからないので、金比羅山に登ることに比べたら何の問題もないと思います。 実際、朝食前に散歩がてらに御本宮まで歩いて行きました。写真を撮りながらゆっくり散策して２時間ぐらいでした。ただ、普段から趣味で山登りはしているので脚力はあるほうです。 8階の展望風呂も、女風呂は狭いので…と説明がありましたが、ビジネスホテルでは男風呂しかないホテルが多いのはよくあることで、女風呂があるだけでも有り難かったです。温泉でなくても、広いお風呂に入るとやっぱり疲れはとれる気がします。その日トータル５時間以上、ひとりで運転していた私は充分癒されました。 朝食付きでとても安く宿泊出来て、とても満足でした。朝食会場も明るくて清潔感のあるスペースで、メニューは豊富とはいえませんが、充分だと思います。トングや料理の周りなど、細かいところがキチンとキレイにされていて、今まで泊まったビジネスホテルの朝食会場よりも好感がもてました。 フロントスタッフの方々も、丁寧な対応をしていただきました。良い旅になりました。ありがとうございました。
